Description
Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Paste is used for nourishing and protecting all types of wood. It is the perfect finish to apply onto lacquer and French Polish finishes along with bare woods and comes in a wide selection of colours. Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Paste is made from a blend of waxes, high quality Carnauba Wax and provides good resistance to finger and water marks. It is a soft wax so easy to apply and buff off. Liberon Wax Polish is most well known for its pleasant, distinctive aroma. It is traditionally used on antique furniture but is also suitable for use on modern furniture and surfaces. Liberon Wax feeds, polishes and helps to prevent wood drying out; it offers a lustrous and hardwearing finish as well as helping to cover marks and scratches. It will enhance the natural beauty of your wood whilst also being safe for use on toys as it is silicone-free.
How to use Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Paste
1. If the wood you are about to wax already has a finish on the surface, we highly recommend cleaning the surface first, using Priory Polish Reviver and very fine Wire Wool. This will remove the dirt and grease, ready for waxing and will also give you the best sheen whilst adding to the depth of the colour and finish.
2. Apply Liberon Wax Polish Paste sparingly with a cloth on a delicate or French polished surface, or with Ultra Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000) when a deeper penetration is required. Wipe off any excess and then allow to dry for around twenty minutes, until touch dry. Now buff off the Wax with a clean cotton cloth (Priory Polishes Fine Cotton Buffing Cloths are ideal).
3. Very dry wood may take several applications and more thin coats can be applied to deepen the colour and enhance the required finish.
4. Once you are happy with the results, for future maintenance simply dust the surface with a lint-free cloth or duster. If the surface starts to look tired, simply re-wax again as you can do this as many times as needed.

Please note
With all waxes, it is not waterproof so do not wash the finished surface with water or household cleaners and detergents. Do not use spray dusters, simply re-wax when necessary.
We do also stock Liberon Liquid Wax Polish, this is not as durable but is extremely simple and easy to apply and buff. It is a good product for the maintenance of the surface.
Always test in a small inconspicuous area first to ensure you are happy with the results.
Always wear protective gloves when using this product.
Please note, that all the Liberon Wax tins come with a small punctured hole on the lid. This is intentional so the polish can breathe.

This polish is amazing, it has brought a deep shine and richness to a walnut veneer which had been slightly sun bleached.
