Liberon Liquid Wax Polish Black Bison is a liquid wax ideal for nourishing and protecting all types of wood and is easy to apply and buff. Liberon Liquid Polish is made from a blend of waxes, including high quality Carnauba Wax and it provides good resistance to finger marks. It will enhance the natural beauty of old finishes and new wood. It offers a highly lustrous and hard-wearing finish, as well as helping to cover marks and scratches.
Liberon Liquid Wax is widely used in the Antiques trade but is also particularly suitable for large surfaces such as panelling, doors, staircases and other large interior woodwork. It is well-known for its pleasant and distinctive aroma so it not only feeds and polishes but it also helps to prevent the wood drying out leaving a beautiful smell.
How to use Liberon Liquid Wax Polish Black Bison
1. If the wood you are about to liquid wax already has a finish on the surface, we highly recommend cleaning the surface first, using Priory Polish Reviver and very fine Wire Wool. This will remove the dirt and grease, ready waxing and will also give you the best sheen whilst adding to the depth of the colour and finish.
2.Shake the Liberon Liquid Wax Polish Black Bison extremely well before use. Apply the Liquid Wax sparingly with a buffing cloth, and wait approximately thirty minutes until touch dry.
3. Buff off with a clean Buffing Cloth or a buffing brush to a nice sheen. We recommend doing at least two coats but the more thin layers you add, this will enhance the finish and sheen. Always buff off between coats.
3. Once you are happy with the results, for future maintenance simply dust the surface with a lint-free cloth or duster. If the surface starts to look tired simply re-wax again as you can do this as many times as needed.
Please note
As with all waxes, it is not waterproof so do not wash the finished surface with water or household cleaners and detergents. Do not use spray dusters, simply re-wax when necessary.
We do also stock Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Paste, this is a slightly more durable finish but is more difficult to buff.
Always test in a small inconspicuous area first to ensure you are happy with the results.
