Rustins Quick Dry Matt Black – 250ml

Description

Rustins Quick Dry Matt Black is a dense black matt paint based on water borne self cross-linking acrylic resin. It is used for all interior and exterior bare, hardboard, MDF, plaster, brickwork, cement and wrought iron. It can be used over existing wood and metal primers and over existing paints and is Quick drying with excellent covering power. It contains special matting agents so that paint dries with Matt finish.

How to use Rustins Quick Dry Matt Black

1. Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants.
2. Fill holes and cracks with a Wood Filler.
3. Over existing paint, the surface must be cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key before application.
4. Stir well before use.
5. Apply the Rustins Quick Dry Matt Black liberally and evenly with synthetic fibre brush or roller.
6. 1 or 2 coats can be applied depending on requirements.
7. It is touch dry within 30 minutes, depending upon temperature and humidity.
8. Recoating time is 2 hours minimum, depending upon temperature and humidity.

Please note
The application Temperature is ideally 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C, or in conditions of high humidity.
The coverage is approximately 12-14 Sq. mt. per litre, 1 coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
For maintenance, clean painted surfaces with a mild detergent solution.
It may be applied over solvent and acrylic paint.
Store in the original tightly closed container in normal conditions.
Do not store below 5°C. Protect from frost.
Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with either Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Strypit paint and Varnish Stripper.

Health and safety
Non-flammable. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Keep out of reach of children.
