Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer is a water-based sealer for protecting porous interior stone flooring while maintaining the natural appearance of the stone. It is ideal for terracotta, slate, York stone, quarry tiles, ceramic, marble and many similar porous surfaces.

This natural stone floor sealer helps protect against water, stains, food oils and grease marks. It is suitable for both new and old stone and is effective after just one coat on most surfaces.

How to Use Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer

Prepare the Floor

Ensure the surface is clean and completely dry before application. If necessary, clean the floor with Liberon Stone Floor Cleaner, rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry completely.

Check Whether Sealing is Required

Put several drops of water onto the stone surface and leave for approximately 10 minutes. If the water is absorbed into the stone, the floor requires sealing.

Apply the Sealer

1. Shake the container well before use.
2. Apply Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer generously with a paint brush.
3. Allow the sealer to dry for approximately one hour.
4. Carry out the water-drop test by placing a small amount of water onto the surface and leaving it for 10–15 minutes.
5. If the water remains on the surface, sufficient sealer has been applied.
6. If the water is absorbed, apply further coats as required.
7. The number of coats required will depend on the porosity of the stone.
8. Allow the final coat to dry for 24 hours before use.

Finishing the Sealed Floor

Once the stone has been properly sealed and the final coat has dried, the surface can be finished with Liberon Stone Floor Wax or Liberon Stone Floor Shine if additional protection or a different appearance is required.

Natural Finish vs Colour Enhancer Stone Floor Sealer

Choose Liberon Natural Finish Stone Floor Sealer when you want to protect porous stone while maintaining its natural appearance without adding colour.

Choose Liberon Colour Enhancer Stone Floor Sealer when you want to deepen and enhance the natural colour of the stone. The Colour Enhancer is linseed oil based, whereas Natural Finish is water based.

Both products are designed to seal and protect porous stone flooring, but they provide different finishes and should not be treated as interchangeable products.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean the sealed floor with Liberon Stone Floor Cleaner as required.

It is recommended to carry out the water-drop test approximately once a year to check that the stone remains adequately sealed. Re-apply the sealer when necessary, depending on the condition and usage of the floor.

• Do not use on previously oiled surfaces. For previously oiled stone, use Liberon Colour Enhancer Stone Floor Sealer instead.
• Allow the final coat to dry for 24 hours before using the floor.
• Do not dispose of product residues or washing water into sinks, toilets, sewers or drains.
