Fiddes Filler Gel – 800g

Description

Fiddes Filler gel is a spirit based gel filler formulated to fill gaps, cracks and joints prior to sanding and finishing wood flooring. It has excellent filling and adhesion properties, whilst offering specific colour matching when mixed with fine saw dust directly from the wood substrate. It is ideal for use under Fiddes Hard Wax Oil or Fiddes Clear Glaze.

How to use Fiddes Filler Gel

1. Sand the wood in the direction of the grain, collecting resulting powder/dust and mix with Filler Gel to form a smooth paste.
2. Fill joint/gap to maximum, and allow to dry completely for 30-60 minutes.
3. Proceed with final sanding of substrate to required level.
4. Always apply in dry, non humid conditions, at room temperature.
5. Clean applicators with Acetone.

Health and Safety

Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Use non-sparking tools. Wear protective gloves/ protective clothing/ eye protection/ face protection. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/ attention. IN CASE OF FIRE: Use foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog to extinguish. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Dispose of contents/ container in accordance with national regulations. Avoid breathing vapour/ spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Store locked up.
