Liberon Garden Furniture Cleaner is a water-based cleaner specially formulated for cleaning old, tired and dirty outdoor wooden furniture. It removes dirt, grime, mould and mildew from exterior timber, helping to restore the appearance of weathered garden furniture.

It is particularly useful for cleaning garden tables, chairs, benches, swings and other outdoor wooden furniture before applying a new coat of garden furniture oil.

How to Use Liberon Garden Furniture Cleaner

1. Shake well before use.
2. Dilute the cleaner with up to 2 parts water in a bucket.
3. Apply the solution using a scrubbing brush.
4. Scrub the timber thoroughly, concentrating on areas affected by dirt, mould, mildew or grime.
5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
6. Wipe the timber dry and repeat the process if necessary until the furniture is clean.
7. Allow the timber to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before applying Liberon Garden Furniture Oil.

Removing Stubborn Stains & Mould

For heavily soiled timber or stubborn marks, a stronger solution may be required. For particularly stubborn stains, apply a few drops of undiluted Garden Furniture Cleaner directly to the affected area.

Work the cleaner into the timber using a hard-bristle brush, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if required.

Preparing Garden Furniture for Re-Oiling

Cleaning outdoor furniture before applying wood oil is an important part of the preparation process. Dirt, grime and surface contamination can affect the appearance of the new oil finish.

After cleaning, rinse the furniture thoroughly and allow it to dry completely. We recommendsallowing the timber to dry for 24 to 48 hours before applying the finishing product.

Once the timber is clean and completely dry, it can be treated with a suitable exterior wood oil such as a good quality Garden Furniture Oil.
