Description

Liberon Wood Floor Cleaner is a solvent-based cleaner for interior wooden floors. It helps lift old wax, dirt and grease, preparing the timber for a new floor finish.

It is particularly useful when renovating or maintaining wooden and parquet floors where layers of old wax and accumulated dirt need to be removed before refinishing.

What Can Liberon Wood Floor Cleaner Remove?

• Old and built-up floor wax
• Dirt and general grime
• Grease marks
• Old polish residue
• Surface contamination before refinishing

How to Use Liberon Wood Floor Cleaner

1. For best results, soak a pad of Liberon Steel Wool (grade 0000 or 00) with Floor Cleaner.
2. Gently scrub the surface, working with the grain wherever possible.
3. Allow the Floor Cleaner a few minutes to work.
4. While the surface is still wet, use a clean, dry cotton cloth to wipe away the old wax and cleaner.
5. Heavily waxed floors may require more than one application.
6. Allow the wood to dry out completely before applying a new finish.

Coverage: 1 litre covers approximately 6–8m².

Please Note

Do not use on water-based varnish, plastic or vinyl floors. Liberon Wood Floor Cleaner may lift newly applied shellac sealers, lacquers, varnishes and sealers, and may dissolve bitumen-based adhesives.

Always test the product first on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the whole floor.

Health and Safety

Flammable. Contains aliphatic solvents. Irritating to eyes and harmful if swallowed, with a risk of lung damage. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not empty into drains. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.

Dispose of used steel wool and cloths safely and outside where possible to reduce vapour build-up and fire hazard.
