What Can Liquid Wax Polish Be Used On?
Liberon Liquid Wax Polish is suitable for a wide range of wooden furniture and interior woodwork, including:
- Wooden furniture
- Antique furniture
- Doors
- Staircases
- Wood panelling
- Interior woodwork
- Large wooden surfaces
- Previously waxed furniture
It helps protect timber against dryness and everyday use while restoring a rich, attractive sheen.
How to Use Liberon Liquid Wax Polish Black Bison
- Remove old waxes and dirt with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover if necessary.
- If the wood you are about to Liquid Wax already has a finish on the surface, we highly recommend cleaning the surface first, using Priory Polish Reviver and very fine Wire Wool. This will remove the dirt and grease, ready for waxing and will also give you the best sheen whilst adding to the depth of the colour and finish.
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply Liberon Liquid Wax Polish sparingly using a soft, lint-free cotton cloth, brush or suitable spray gun.
- Allow the wax to become touch dry, which takes approximately 1 hour.
- Buff the surface using a Wax Buffing Cloth or a buffing brush to a nice sheen.
- We recommend doing at least two coats but the more thin layers you add, this will enhance the finish and sheen. Always buff off between coats.
- Repeat if necessary on new or very dry wood.
For an improved finish, apply thin coats of wax, allowing each coat to dry before buffing and building up the desired level of sheen.
