This product does remove lots of dirt and grime, you only have to look at your cloth to see the dark grey colour when you are finished and the smooth finish it leaves is just truly amazing.
I would recommend this product unreservedly if you have a clock case of any description that needs the best of care. Glad I found it.

I have had a Sam Collier of Eccles longcase clock left to me by my father, it has been in kit form for over 60years gathering dust and filth. Being a complete novice I searched for a non aggressive cleaner to start restoring it like I promised. This has proved to be absolutely brilliant. Easy to use, no nasty chemicals and fairly safe to use with two nosey kittens in the house.
Armed with my trusty old toothbrush, a good supply of soft cloth I have set too, the amount of filth and grime that has been removed after just one go round is amazing. It is so simple to do, apply, work gently into a small area and wipe off the muck. No hard rubbing no nasty vapours. The beauty of the oak is starting to come back from the shadows, yes I will need to do it again, it is a case of gently does it as I am a complete novice and I do not want a clock that has lost all of the 250 years worth of character it has accrued in it’s lifetime.
