Liberon Floor Wax nourishes and protects new and reclaimed wooden floors, bringing out the natural colour of the timber and leaving a traditional soft natural sheen.

This easy-to-use floor wax is also suitable for cork floors. It is non-sticky, quick drying and buffs easily to create an attractive, well-maintained finish. For best results, use Liberon Floor Wax over Liberon Floor Sealer.

How to Use Liberon Floor Wax

1. Sand the floor if required and remove any previous finishes.
2. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and dust free.
3. For a newly sanded floor, use Liberon Floor Sealer first for best results.
4. For heavy build-up of old polish and dirt, clean the floor with Liberon Floor Cleaner.
5. Shake the Floor Wax well before use.
6. Apply a thin coat using a brush or cloth, rubbing briskly so the wax penetrates into the wood.
7. Allow at least 30 minutes to dry.
8. Buff with a clean cotton cloth, floor brush or suitable floor polishing machine.
9. Apply additional thin coats until the desired level of sheen is achieved. Porous floors may require more coats.

Coverage: 1 litre covers approximately 12–15m².

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular buffing will help maintain the appearance and shine of a waxed floor. When buffing no longer restores the sheen, apply another thin coat of Liberon Floor Wax.

High-traffic areas may require more frequent waxing. Do not clean waxed floors with water. For stubborn marks, use a suitable wood floor cleaner and re-apply Floor Wax as required.

Please Note

For best results, Liberon Floor Wax should be used over Liberon Floor Sealer on newly sanded floors. Always test the product first on a spare piece of flooring or an inconspicuous area to check colour compatibility and the final result.

Important: Waxed surfaces may become slippery. Liberon Floor Wax is not suitable for areas where surface water is likely, such as bathrooms and kitchens. The product may also dissolve bitumen-based adhesives.

Health and Safety

Flammable. Contains aliphatic solvents and turpentine. May cause sensitisation by skin contact. Harmful if swallowed and may cause lung damage. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and wear suitable gloves. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not empty into drains. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.
