- Re-coating Time is 2-3 hours between coats.
Please note
The application Temperature should be cool.
Coverage is 5 – 10 sq. metres per litre depending on the condition of the surface to be coated.
Occasional highlights may appear on the renovated matt coals; this is perfectly normal and enhances their appearance, making the coals look naturally burned and ash-like, as in a real fire. These will become apparent after heat is introduced and are due to paint burning off in areas where the heat from the flame is in excess of 1250⁰C. As coals come to the end of their life span, the white ash patches become more apparent: this is an indicator that the coals require replacement, not a fault with the paint, which is supported by the coal manufacturer instructions.
It is compatible with Gas Coals.
Shelf-life/Storage 2 years if stored unopened in a cool, dry place.
