Questions and Answers

My old can of antiquax seems to have dried out, it is difficult to apply. Is there any solvent I could add to make it easier to apply?

Unfortunately once the wax has dried out, there is no solvents you can safely add to make this usable again. The main reason is, if the solvent has not been mixed correctly it may damage your surface, so it is best to dispose of this and get a new can. This wax will last for years if stored correctly in a cool dry place with the lid tightly on.

Please note

The application temperature is ideally 15-25ºC

Re-apply when necessary.

Compatible with most timber finishes. If in doubt, check on an inconspicuous test area first.

For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance, timber should be previously sealed with a varnish, oil or sanding sealer.

It can be stored for a very long time, if stored in original sealed container in a cool dry place.

Clean-Up Hands and application cloths can be cleaned in warn soapy water.
