Osmo Oil Stain Hardener 6631 is a special clear polyisocyanate hardening additive for use with Osmo Oil Stain to reduce drying times. Osmo Oil Stain Hardener will speed up the drying time from 12 hours to just 4 hours. This is ideal if you are working on large commercial or public projects.

How to use Osmo Oil Stain Hardener

Add Osmo Oil Stain Hardener for to Osmo Oil Stain.
60ml should be mixed in with 1 Litre of Osmo oil stain.
Stir so that both components are mixed very well.
The Oil stain is now ready to be used.

Please note

Pot time is reduced down to 60 minutes by adding the Hardener. Please do not mix together more material than you can process with certainty within 45 minutes. If you do not use the entire can of Oil Stain, add 6% Hardener – mix in a separate container.

STORAGE – Up to 1 year and longer if can is kept dry and closed tightly. Leftover product mixture cannot be stored and reused.

CLEANING OF TOOLS – With Osmo Brush Cleaner (free of aromatic compounds).

Drying time – Approx. 3-4 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/ 50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher air humidity can increase the drying time. Ventilate well while drying.

COVERAGE – The product coverage of Oil Stain is not changed by adding hardener.

INGREDIENTS – Aliphatic polyisocyanate, methoxy propyl acetate.

DISPOSAL – Dispose of leftover product and completely emptied packaging according to local official guidelines (waste code number 08 05 01). Only completely emptied cans can be recycled.

Keep away from heat/ open flames. No smoking. Do not breathe mist/vapours/spray. Wear protective gloves. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water and soap. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with chemical waste disposal regulations. Product contains: Hexamethylene 1,6-diisocyanato homopolymer.
