Liberon 3 Part Touch-Up Pens are easy-to-use wood scratch repair pens designed to disguise superficial scratches, small blemishes and areas of faded colour on finished wooden surfaces, particularly furniture.

Each pack contains three colour tones that can be blended to help achieve a closer match to the surrounding timber. The spirit-dye formula provides a quick-drying, water and wipe-resistant colour.

The pens can also be used to colour bare wood before French polishing or to create a simple wood grain effect when carrying out furniture repairs.

Available Colours

Liberon 3 Part Touch-Up Pens are available in three colour options:

• Pine – suitable for lighter-coloured woods
• Oak – suitable for darker wood shades
• Mahogany – suitable for medium and warmer-toned woods

Each pack contains three complementary colour tones, making it easier to blend the repair and achieve a natural-looking result.

How to Use Liberon Touch-Up Pens

1. Ensure the area to be treated is clean and free from dust and dirt.
2. Choose the closest matching colour and carefully colour over the scratch or blemish.
3. Use the pointed tip for precise repairs and greater control.
4. For a more natural appearance, use different tones to blend the repair into the surrounding grain.
5. Allow the colour to dry fully before applying any further finish.

Always work carefully and build up the colour gradually. It is easier to add more colour than to remove too much.

Finishing the Repair

Once the touch-up colour has dried, it is recommended to apply a suitable furniture wax over the repaired area. A coat or two of Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison can help blend the repair further while providing additional protection to the finished surface.

For more severe scratches, dents or deeper damage, a Liberon Wax Filler Stick may be more suitable than a touch-up pen.

Always test the product on a spare piece of timber or an inconspicuous area before starting a repair. This allows you to check the colour, compatibility and final appearance.

The final colour can vary depending on the existing finish and colour of the timber. For the best results, use the pens sparingly and blend the colour gradually.
