Fiddes Shellac Sealer – 1 Litre

Description

Fiddes Shellac Sealer is very simple to use and creates a seal coat before application of French Polish or wax finishes on bare wood. It can also seal wood stain, create a protective barrier coat, act as a knotting agent and can help fill the grain of the wood. It is quick and easy to use to create a smooth surface coat.

How to use Fiddes Shellac Sealer

1. Ensure that the wood is bare and free from grease before applying the sealer.
2. Apply using a French Polishing Brush.
3. De-nib between coats.
4. If using as a base coat before French Polishing see our guide here.
5. Alternatively finish with a coat of Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish or Mellow Wax Polish to further protect and enhance the natural beauty of your wood.

Please note –

Coverage – Approx. 8 square metres per litre.

Drying time – 20-30 minutes per coat.

Clean tools with Methylated spirit.
