How to Use Capability Green Chalk Paint

For best results, apply Annie Sloan Capability Green Chalk Paint with a Chalk Paint Brush or Flat Brush.  Chalk Paint is designed for furniture painting and can be applied to a wide range of surfaces with minimal preparation.

Capability Green can be used as a single colour to create a calm, natural finish or combined with other Chalk Paint colours to create contrast. Its warm green character makes it particularly effective on cupboards, dressers, tables, chairs and other painted furniture.

For a more aged or vintage appearance, allow the paint to dry and then lightly sand selected areas around edges, corners and details. This can soften the finish and emphasise the character of older furniture.
