Description
Mylands 2000 Pale Shellac Sealer Basecoat is a pale coloured medium viscosity sealer which is easy to apply. It is suitable as a sealer on woods under traditional French Polishes. Most wood dyes and stains may be also used prior to the application of this basecoat. It can also act as a base-coat before wax polishing.
How to use Mylands 2000 Pale Shellac Sealer Basecoat

- This can be applied using a French Polishing brush or polishing rubber.
COVERAGE – Variable and is dependent on various factors, such as porosity of timber, application method, etc.
Drying Time – Touch dry in 15 minutes – De-nibbing for re-coat in 30 minutes (at 20°C)
CLEANING – Use Methylated Spirits
STORAGE – Store at room temperature. Protect from frost. Keep lid tightly closed and away from sources of heat or sunlight. 12 month shelf life.
