Rustins Quick Dry Heat Resistant Black Paint – 250ml

Description

Rustins Quick Dry Heat Resistant Black Paint is a dense black matt paint based on water borne self cross-linking acrylic resin. It is for use on metal and wood for interior and exterior applications. Not for use on wood burning stoves, for this please see out Hotspot range. This paint is heat resistant to 220°C, is quick drying and offers excellent covering power.

How to use Rustins Quick Dry Heat Resistant Black Paint

1. Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants. Remove any flaking paint with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.
2. Remove rust with Rustins Rust Remover and then apply Rustins Red Oxide Primer.
3. If applying to bare wood then apply  Rustins Quick Dry Primer and Undercoat
4. Stir before use. Ensure any sediment is thoroughly mixed in.
5. Apply liberally and evenly with synthetic fibre brush or roller
6. Apply 1 or 2 coats depending on requirements.
7. It is usually touch dry within 30 minutes, depending upon temperature and humidity
8. Re-coating Time is 2 hours minimum, depending upon temperature and humidity.

Please note

Application Temperature is ideally 15-25°C.

Do not use below 10°C, or in conditions of high humidity.

Coverage Approximately 12-14 Sq. m. per litre, 1 coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Clean painted surfaces with a mild detergent solution

May be applied over solvent and acrylic

Store in original tightly closed container in normal conditions.

Do not store below 5°C. Protect from frost.

Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with either Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.

Non-flammable. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Keep out of reach of children
