Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler

Description

Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler is very durable and can last for years even when exposed to harsh weather conditions. This two-part wood filler can fill to any depth and dries in just 30 minutes and wont shrink or crack. Its tough formula means it won’t shrink or crack and it can be used for interior or exterior use. It is quick drying and suitable for any size hole. Once dry it can be sanded, planed, filed, nailed and screwed. It can also be stained, varnish and painted.

How to use Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler

1. If you’re repairing rotten wood, remove any soft wood and treat it with Ronseal Wood Hardener. This will help the filler to stick and the repair to last.
2. If you’re using this wood filler indoors, open your doors and windows for added ventilation.
3. Mix a pea-sized amount of hardener with a golf ball-sized amount of filler.
4. Keep mixing until it’s all one colour – you can do this easily in the lid.
5. Test the Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler on a small area to check you’re happy with the colour.
6. If you are, pack the filler into the hole and leave some raised above the surface to make sure it’s properly filled.
7. Before it hardens, smooth it over with a knife. You have roughly 20 minutes to carve or shape the filler before it hardens.
8. After 30 minutes, the wood filler will be hard and you can sand, plane, file, nail or screw it. You can also stain, varnish or paint over it.
