Description
Mylands Oxalic Acid is used to remove ink and rust stains from bare wood and can also act as a wood bleach. It is mainly used on wood but can also be used on other items like concrete (always test a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility). Mylands Oxalic Acid reacts with tannins in the wood to remove black water marks from Oak. It is not suitable to remove burn or heat marks.
How to use Mylands Oxalic Acid
- Mix 100g Oxalic Acid with 600ml warm water.
- The bleaching process will continue for 1-2 hours.
- When the wood is bleached the surface should then be washed with water.
- If wood finish is not pale enough, it can be bleached repeating the aforementioned process.
