Description
Mylands Liming Wax is used to create a ‘limed’ effect to wood furniture. It can either be used as a finishing wax to add a light tint or with a liming brush to create a limed wash effect.
How to use Mylands Liming Wax

- Mylands Liming Wax is best to be applied to bare unsealed wood.
- Open the grain with a Bronze Liming Brush, always work in the direction of the grain and use a fair amount of pressure.
- Once the grain has been opened, Work the Mylands Liming Wax into the grain of the wood.
- Wipe off the excess with a clean cloth.
- Allow to dry for around 10 minutes and buff to a nice sheen.
- More layers can be added if necessary.

COVERAGE – Variable depending on whether the wax is used on bare or sealed timber and on number of applications used.
DRYING TIME – Toluene based: 2-3 Minutes – Toluene free: 30 minutes (at 20°C) Drying time will be dependent on coating thickness applied and ambient temperature.
CLEANING – Use Methylated Spirits.
STORAGE – Store in cool dry place, away from direct heat.
Not recommended for use on flooring
