Gold Size by Annie Sloan

Description

Gold Size by Annie Sloan comes in a 100ml tub and is a water based glue that stays sticky once applied and dry. This makes it easier to lay metal leaf quickly and easily.

How to use Gold Size

1. 1. Apply a thin layer over a surface that you are going to gild with a small brush.
   2. The Gold Size will look white at first, then as it starts to dry it will begin to turn a purple shade. After around 15 minutes it will eventually turn a clear transparent colour.
   3. Once the Size is transparent, it is ready for metal leaf to be applied.
   4. Lay the metal leaf carefully onto the sized area, gently smoothing and removing excess leaf with a soft dry cloth or brush.
   5. Wash brushes in water immediately after use.
   6. You can finish by sealing using a wax to create an aged look if required.
