Soft Wax Filler Sticks Set

Soft Wax Filler Sticks are used to repair small holes, scratches, dents and chips in wood surfaces. They come in a variety of colours and can be intermixed. These soft wax filler sticks are often used in the repair of furniture and antiques. It can be used by melted into the area using a heating iron or warm small areas with your fingers and pushing into the damages area. Once dry, remove the excess with a Special Applicator Tool. This tool can be used to remove the excess and buff in the wax.

How to use Soft Wax Filler Sticks

1. Remove all loose particles on the wood.
2. On wood surfaces press damage edges round.
3. If necessary, Touch up the damaged area with wood dye.
4. Use heat to melt the soft Wax Filler Sticks into the damaged area. Alternatively cut a small piece and warm in your fingers to push into the affected area.
5. Several colours may be needed to mix and create a suitable colour.
6. Remove excess wax with the Wax Filler Applicator tool. Use the serrated edge to remove and level excess hard wax. Use the abrasive pads for smoothing/sanding the wax to create a more finished surface.
7. The grain may painted back into the repair using a black touch up grain pen.
