Mylands Pearl Glue (also known as animal glue) is a traditional, natural adhesive sold in small, pearl-like granules. It is primarily used in woodworking, specifically for antique furniture restoration, veneering and instrument making due to its high strength.
How to use Mylands Pearl Glue
- Soak the Pearl glue overnight in about 3 to 4 times its volume of water.
- Heat this solution in a double pot until all the glue has melted.
- If the glue is too thick add some more water to the solution.
- Do not allow to boil.
