Restore an Antique Clock Case

The Clock Case Restorer is designed to clean and revive the original finish of wooden clock cases without the need to remove the aged patina or re-French polish the case.

It can be used on wooden cases including grandfather clocks, longcase clocks, mantel clocks and wall clocks. Applied with a cloth, it can help remove accumulated dirt and grime while reviving the colour and sheen of the existing finish.

For more heavily soiled surfaces, the Clock Case Restorer can be applied with ultra fine 0000 wire wool, working carefully in the direction of the grain.

Once the clock case has been cleaned and any minor repairs have been completed, Priory Polishes Finishing Wax Polish can be used to provide a protective furniture finish and enhance the appearance of the wood.

The included Fine Cotton Buffing Cloths are ideal for applying and buffing suitable products and producing a smooth, attractive sheen.

How to Use the Clock Restoration Kit
