Gorilla Mould Resistant Sealant Clear is an all purpose, all surface sealant that can be used on both indoor or outdoor projects. It can be used on all surfaces from Porcelain, Ceramic, Stainless Steel, Metal, Vinyl, Granite, Laminate, Wood, Stone, Glass and much More! Gorilla’s 100% Silicone formula provides a strong waterproof seal, so ideal for kitchen, bath, window, doors, plumbing, gutters and more! This long-lasting sealant is not only mould & mildew resistant but won’t yellow, shrink or crack over time!
How to use Gorilla Mould Resistant Sealant Clear
- All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil and old sealant. Best if used above 5°C.
- Unscrew cap, fold and screw on nozzle. Cut to desired bead size.
- Apply sealant, pushing bead ahead of nozzle.
- Smooth bead immediately after application, before a skin forms.
- For clean-up, wipe off wet sealant immediately with a dry cloth. Isopropyl alcohol may be used according to solvent manufacturer’s instructions.
- For gaps larger than 12 mm, use a backer rod to fill the gap. Can be exposed to water in as little as 30 minutes based on 5 mm bead at 21°C and 50% humidity. Otherwise, wait 24 hours.
Please note
Storage: Replace cap tightly to prevent material from curing. Store in a cool, dry location. To reuse nozzle, remove sealant from nozzle once cured.
Do not use on wet, damp, frozen or contaminated surfaces. Not paintable. Not for use in underwater applications, aquariums, on brick, masonry, cementitious materials or on metals sensitive to corrosion including brass and galvanised metals. For general automotive/marine applications only. Not for under bonnet use or direct petrol exposure.
Service Temp: -40°C to 176°C.
Cure Time: 24 hours. Cure time will increase with lower temperature, higher humidity and larger bead size.
