UK Postage

Most of our orders are posted on a 24 hour tracked delivery service. 24 hour delivery is not guaranteed and is not available in all areas. It is successful in around 98% of deliveries but please allow 48 hours. 24 hour delivery excludes highlands, islands and remote areas (please see below for remote areas). Out of area postcodes are automatically put on a 48 hour service but again may take slightly longer depending on your area. 
Parcels can take slightly longer especially during busy periods. We may use alternative couriers for larger orders. These delivery times are estimated and are not guaranteed. 

Our standard delivery costs £2.99 but we do offer UK FREE delivery on all orders over £20.

We now also offer a 24 Hour service (available at checkout) but this is not a guaranteed next day delivery. Unfortunately this service is not available on all products due to shipping restrictions. 24 Hour delivery is only available Monday – Friday and orders must be placed before 12pm. 24 Hour delivery excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. This service is for mainland only and can exclude some areas of northern Scotland and remote areas. 24 hour is unfortunately not available for northern Ireland. 

We dispatch our items Monday to Friday before 2pm. Any orders after this time will go onto our next day’s orders. On occasion, we may not be able to dispatch on the same day due to stock levels, but we have stock arriving on a daily basis, so your order will be prioritised as soon as stock levels are replenished.

However, in the event your parcel is delayed, we kindly ask you to allow up to 7 working days from dispatch for your item to arrive and to double-check your shipping address. During busy periods, dispatch and delivery may take longer. Please note that due to the holiday season, deliveries may take longer than usual, and delays are expected.

Delivery to Safe Place

Please note, for any delivery where a ‘Safe Space’ option has been chosen, we cannot be held responsible for any missing items. Any issues must be addressed directly with the courier.

  • Definition of Safe Space: A ‘safe space’ is defined as a location specified by the customer for delivery, where the customer believes the item will be secure until retrieval.
  • Customer Responsibility: By opting for delivery to a safe space, the customer acknowledges that they are assuming all risks associated with this delivery method. The company shall not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to items delivered to the specified safe space.
  • Clear Communication: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the chosen safe space is suitable for receiving deliveries and that it is accessible to the delivery personnel. The company will not be liable for any issues arising from an unsuitable or insecure location.
    Acknowledgment of Risks: The customer acknowledges that delivery to a safe space may involve certain risks, including but not limited to theft, weather damage, or unauthorized access. The company is not liable for any consequences resulting from these risks.
  • Refunds and Replacements: In the event of loss or damage to items delivered to a safe space, the customer agrees that the company is not liable for refunds or replacements, and any claims should be directed to the customer’s insurance provider if applicable.
  • Pre-existing Choices: Customers may save their preferred safe space choices with Evri, Royal Mail or Parcelforce based on past deliveries, not necessarily from Priory Polishes. This allows for quicker processing of future orders and ensures consistency in delivery preferences. It is the customer’s responsibility to amend or remove this option as needed.
  • Modification of Terms: The company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes prior to their next delivery.

By selecting delivery to a safe space, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions in full.

Delivery to Remote Areas 

Remote areas include postcodes beginning with the following; IM, HS, ZE, BT, IV, KW, TR, GY, JE, AB, FK, KA, PA, PH. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. 

Delivery to the Channel Islands, Orkney Islands and the Isle of Man

Please note – delivery to the Channel Islands, Orkney Islands and the Isle of Man is not always possible depending on the product and size. Before ordering, please email us to confirm we can ship the items to your destination. 

Delivery Outside of the UK

For deliveries outside of the UK, please email us the items that you are interested in, along with your full address and we will get a shipping quote for you. Not all items are permitted to be posted outside of the UK due to customs but we will inform you of your options. We do have a supplier in Europe who sells some of our items so we can pass on their details if necessary. Unfortunately we cannot ship outside of Europe due to strict rules on shipping. 

Store collections

Store collections. We do allow you to collect from our shop, Unit 6A, Deanfield Drive, Link 59 Business Park, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 1QJ. Please come into the unit signposted Antiques world as we are in a shared premises.

Packaging and Returns

We package our items very well and try to use eco-friendly packing materials where possible.

If there are any damages please let us know immediately.

Returns are accepted as long as no product has been opened or used. Returns must be received back to us within 14 days of purchase. See our terms and conditions for further information.
